If iSAMS could generate registration reports for academic leavers and former students in a variety of categories, including by year group, form, or individual, that would be very helpful. For example, when creating a registration report for the class of Year 12 in the 2023–2024 academic year, especially in the final week of the summer term. The students were already moved to the Former Pupils category as graduates. The current report only produce the current student who repeated the year.
It would be more accurate and efficient to be able to produce complete registration data for the entire class, even after they have been transferred to the Former Pupils group. Without the need for manual tracking or modifications, this would guarantee that schools could still access crucial data for graduating cohorts while maintaining the accuracy and completeness of their records.

This is already possible, as the system snapshots where the student was at the time that they left the school and uses this information to include them in reports for former students. If this is not working correctly for your school (in that when you run reports for former students as a whole class or year group, they do not all display), please raise this as a ticket with the support desk for further investigation.
