Currently we have an issue where if a student is to be out of school from 11.30, in the middle of a lesson (say 11.00 - 12.00) we cannot mark out of school as well as register the student as being present for the first half of a lesson. The register will still show as not registered and when you try to mark them as present it just won't save (and no error message will come up).
Whilst I understand there are technical limitations it should still be possible to mark them as present when the registration takes place (start of the lesson) as well as being out of school for later in the lesson, otherwise there could be situations where students are missing for a prolonged period of time and registers are not accurate to the reality of where they are potentially leading to safeguarding issues.
