It would really be appreciated if you could add an option to share the external data column.
When we are adding External Data Column from the Gradebook which we import using Tracking Manager Aspect and we want to share that column with other gradebooks , it is possible .
We’re looking at a complete overhaul of Tracking and External Data over the next year.
We’re in the planning phase to add an External Data module that integrates with Gradebook Templating in Curriculum Manager. Users will be able to associate external data imported into this module with a gradebook tied to pupils.
We’re also reviewing whether to replace or overhaul Tracking so it serves as a better reference tool, with Power BI or Bold Reports used for analytics.
We don’t have a timeline yet, but we’re working to add these features to our roadmap starting at the end of this upcoming school year.
In the meantime, I’m working with our devs to see if we can improve the relationship between CM-generated gradebooks and a central gradebook, so it’s easier to allocate external data added in gradebooks to multiple CM-generated gradebooks.
