We constantly have parents forgetting their passwords to access the iSAMS Parent Portal or have difficulties setting up new ones. The issue is also related to the fact that the new Parent Portal does not have a mobile app and though they set the portal as a web app on their mobile phone, it does not stay signed in and requires login every time they need to access the portal. The password complexity also makes it difficult for parents to set passwords.
Please provide an option for parents to sign in using OTP. This works well on other platforms we use and parents rarely get issues. The parent simply has to enter the registered email address with the school and receive an OTP which they can then use to login.
