Suggested Improvements for Leave Request Feature:
Add filters for Academic Year and Term in Leave Requests
Currently, all leave requests from both current and previous academic years are displayed together.
Adding filters for Academic Year and Term would allow staff to quickly view relevant requests without having to manually review each record.
Display Student Name in the Leave Request List
At present, only the parent’s name is shown in the leave request list.
Displaying the student’s name directly in the list would enable teachers to identify requests more efficiently without opening each record individually.
Enhance Role Management for Leave Request Notifications
Allow administrators to assign individual staff members as recipients of leave requests.
Assigned staff should receive email notifications whenever a parent submits a leave request, ensuring timely review and action.
Improve Search Functionality
Add a search feature that allows staff to search leave requests by student name, parent name, or request date.
This would help users quickly locate specific requests, especially when managing a large volume of submissions.
