EXAMS MODULE:
Please make adding arrangements per cycle and keep the historic data in the cycle they had been entered. It is not useful at all to bring forward the arrangement data from past into current cycles as they change. As it is now, if I delete an arrangement in the current cycle (because it is no longer valid), it also gets deleted from the previous cycle where it was entered/valid. So in case I have to check any reports from a previous cycle, the report is incorrect.
I have tried to give enter an expiry date for any arrangement that are no longer valid in the current cycle, however, I got an error message saying the date has to be in the future. So unfortunately, the suggestion in the reply from iSAMS did not work.

Thank you for raising this with Isams support.
Exam arrangements will carry across all cycles and if they are deleted from November 2027 as an example they will also be removed when viewing arrangements from any other cycle.
The only workaround for this would be to set up the arrangements using the expiry date filter or specific exam board and code filter when being created. That way the arrangements will still be in the system for historical purpose but won't be active for future exams.
I can see how this could be useful to have arrangements per cycle and encourage you to submit an idea to our iSAMS Ideas Portal. This area is regularly reviewed by our Product and Development teams, any ideas suggested are reviewed/implemented based on demand & feasibility.
